County Law Enforcement Professionals of Wisconsin
Wisconsin County Police Association
Executive Director's Message
On behalf of the men and women of the County Law Enforcement Professionals of Wisconsin (CLEPW), I would like to welcome you to our website.
CLEPW has been advancing the interests of county law enforcement professionals in Wisconsin through charitable contributions, educational opportunities, and legislative advocacy since our founding in 1944. Our membership is 3,500 strong and includes deputy sheriffs, jailers, dispatchers and sheriff’s department personnel from nearly every county in the state.
As an Association, we work to provide support to our members and their communities to aid them in creating safe neighborhoods for all Wisconsinites. We further support our members by offering educational assistance opportunities and by recognizing their heroic and unselfish acts of bravery in the face of stressful circumstances.
Along with this, we advocate for laws that will protect the welfare of our members and enhance the effectiveness of public safety in all communities across our great state. We do this by maintaining a visible presence in the state capitol and on relevant committees.
If you have any questions about CLEPW, our activities or becoming a member, please contact us.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site.
